Matured for over two decades, it spends most of its life in ex-Bourbon casks before being finished in carefully selected Carcavelos white port barrels, a rare and historic fortified wine from Portugal. In the glass, it reveals a golden amber hue and a complex, layered nose of ripe orchard fruits, honeycomb, vanilla cream, and toasted almonds, intertwined with floral hints and a touch of spice. The palate is rich yet refined, offering flavours of poached pear, apricot jam, citrus zest, and creamy toffee, balanced by gentle oak tannins and a delicate nuttiness from the port influence. The finish is long, warming, and elegantly sweet, leaving lingering notes of fruit compote, honey, and soft spice.
