Pieropanov Soave Classico Superiore “Calvarino” je boca istorije Soavea. Napravljen od originalne mješavine 70% Garganega i 30% Verdicchia, ovo je bio prvi pojedinačni vinograd koji je Soave ikada objavio (1971.).

Calvarino se nalazi u srcu zone Soave Classico i drevni je kamen temeljac porodičnih vinograda, kupljen je 1901. Ime potiče od „Mala Kalvarija“ koja se odnosi na poteškoće u obradi zemlje i krivudavu stazu do dna imanja.

Miris je svjež, cvjetan sa aromama zove, limuna i trešnje. Nepce je suvo, dobro izbalansirano i elegantno, sa ogromnom dužinom i finoćom. Pravi izvrstan aperitiv i slaže se sa širokim spektrom jela, posebno kiš od povrća, finim ukusom ribe, školjki i sufleima od sira.

Pieropan’s Soave Classico Superiore “Calvarino” is a bottle of Soave history.  Made from the original blend of 70% Garganega and 30% Verdicchio, this was the first single vineyard Soave ever released (in 1971). 

Calvarino is situated in the heart of the Soave Classico zone and is the ancient cornerstone of the family’s vineyards, bought in 1901. The name derives from ‘Little Calvary’ referring to the difficulties in working the land and the tortuously winding path to the bottom.

The aroma is fresh, flowery with aromas of elderflower, lemon and cherry.  The palate is dry, well balanced and elegant, with tremendous length and finesse.  It makes an excellent aperitif and partners a wide range of dishes, especially vegetable quiches, delicately-flavoured fish, shellfish and cheese soufflés.
