Kao što i sam naziv sugeriše, Rosso di Montalcino potiče iz istog područja kao i prestižni Brunello di Montalcino, dijeleći isti mediteranski klimatski uticaj i zasnovan na 100% sorti Sangiovese. Međutim, Rosso di Montalcino se pušta u prodaju ranije, te je samim tim mlađe vino, lakše i manje ekstraktovano od Brunella... što ga čini pogodnijim za svakodnevno uživanje, a svakako i pristupačnijim.

Ova boca sa prestižnog imanja Pian delle Vigne iz porodice Antinori nudi divne arome jagoda i trešanja, uz nježne citrusne note krvave narandže i cvjetne nijanse. Kompleksan buket upotpunjen je balzamičnim tonovima eukaliptusa i blagim nagoveštajem duvana. Na nepcu se osjeća šarmantna svježina, praćena svilenkastim taninima i izraženom slanošću. Dug završetak odražava iste note crvenog voća i krvave narandže koje su se javile i na nosu.

As the name suggests, Rosso di Montalcino comes from the same area of origin as the prestigious Brunello di Montalcino, sharing the same Mediterranean climate and also based on 100% Sangiovese.  However, Rosso di Montalcino is released sooner and is therefore more youthful, lighter and less extracted than Brunello... making it better for everyday enjoyment, and certainly more affordable.  

This bottle from Antinori's prestigious Pian delle Vigne estate  offers lovely aromas of strawberries and cherries, together with delicate citrusy hints of blood oranges and floral aromas. The complex bouquet is completed by balsamic notes of eucalyptus and hints of tobacco.  It has a charming freshness on the palate that is accompanied by silky tannins and a distinctive sapidity. The long aftertaste echoes the same notes of red fruit blood oranges perceived on the nose.
