Viñedos del Contino je osnovan 1973. godine, uvodeći koncept „château“ vinarije u regionu Rioje. Njihova vina se proizvode isključivo od grožđa sa 62 hektara vinograda koji okružuju porodičnu kuću, smještenu u meandru rijeke Ebro, u mjestu Laserna, blizu sela Laguardia u regionu Rioja Alavesa.

Ova Reserva se smatra ambasadorom vinarije, a grožđe se pažljivo bere ručno sa najboljih "mikro parcela" kako bi se pronašla savršena kombinacija za izražavanje stila kuće... što znači vino u kojem se složenost i elegancija besprekorno stapaju.

U berbi 2018. riječ je o vrlo harmoničnom vinu, sa mirisnim nosom koji nudi arome svježeg voća, savršeno usklađene sa cvjetnim, balzamičnim i začinskim notama. Na nepcu je puno, struktuirano i elegantno. Njegov baršunasti i uljasti završetak podsjeća na sočne i mineralne tonove složenog mirisa.

Viñedos del Contino was born in 1973, establishing the “château” concept in the Rioja region. Its wines are made exclusively from the vines planted on its 62 hectares. The estate’s vineyards embrace its ancestral home within a meander in the River Ebro, located in Laserna, near the village of Laguardia in the Rioja Alavesa region.

This Reserva is considered the ambassador for the estate, with grapes carefully handpicked from the. best "micro plots" to find the perfect combination to express the the house style... which is to say a wine where complexity and elegance merge seamlessly together.  In 2018 this is a very harmonious wine, with a fragrant nose that offers aromas of fresh fruit, perfectly combined with floral, balsamic and spicy notes.  On the palate it is voluminous, structured and elegant.  Its velvety and oily finish recalls the luscious and mineral notes of its complex nose.
