Rafinisan i elegantan ručno rađen blend sa dominantnim Merloom (oko 60%), uz približno jednake udjele Cabernet Sauvignona i Cabernet Franca, koji predstavlja kako umijeće vinara, tako i duboko razumijevanje zemlje, čineći da ‘Sophia’ bude najfiniji izraz terroira i ljudi koji ga njeguju. ‘Sophia’, što u grčkoj mitologiji znači ‘mudrost’, odaje počast boginji znanja i iskustva, informacija i razumijevanja – posveta vinarima i vinogradarima koji su stvorili ovo vino.
Tamne granat boje, vino nudi prefinjene i složene arome začinjenog crvenog voća, zgnječenog jesenjeg lišća i sandalovine. Na nepcu klasično komponovano, s bogatstvom voćnog ukusa koji je produžen uravnoteženom svježinom i finim, praškastim taninima. Završetak je elegantan, suv i dugotrajan. Odlično se slaže s bogatim, srdačnim jelima, posebno onima s govedinom ili jagnjetinom. Posebno se ističe uz goveđa rebra, svinjetinu s pestom sa žara i sporo kuvane obraze od govedine.

A refined and elegant hand-crafted Merlot dominant blend (about 60%, plus roughly equal amounts of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc) that represents both the vigneron’s art and an inherent understanding of the land, ensuring ‘Sophia’ is the finest expression of the terroir and the people. ‘Sophia’, meaning ‘wisdom’ in Greek mythology, pays tribute to the goddess of knowledge and experience, information and understanding - a tribute to the winemakers and viticulturists who crafted this wine.
Dark garnet in colour, the wine offers beautifully lifted and complex aromas of spiced red fruits, crushed autumn leaves and sandalwood. Classically composed on the palate with fruit richness that is given length by balanced acidity and fine dusty tannins. It finishes elegant, dry and long. It pairs well with hearty, rich dishes, especially those featuring beef or lamb. It's especially excellent with beef short ribs, grilled pork with pesto, and slow-cooked beef cheeks.
