Picpoul de Pinet “Year 1618” Heritage Blanc, Gerard Bertrand 2021

"Piquepoul" postoji još prije vladavine Luja XIV, ali 1618. botaničar Magnol ga je opisao kao jednu od najpoznatijih sorti grožđa u regiji Languedoc u svom djelu “Sylve Plantarium”. Ovo vino je blijedo žute boje sa naznakama zelene. Ukusno svježe na nepcu sa prekrasnim notama limuna i osnažujućim završetkom. Ovo vino odlično ide uz školjke, kao i uz pečenu bijelu ribu.

"Piquepoul" has been around since before the reign of Louis XIV, but in 1618 the botanist Magnol described it as one of the most renowned grape varieties in Languedoc in his work Sylve Plantarium. This wine has a pale yellow colour with hints of green. Deliciously fresh on the palate with beautiful notes of lemon and an invigorating finish.  This wine goes wonderfully with shellfish, as well as with pan-fried white fish.
