Situated on the plateau of Pomerol and planted almost entirely to Merlot, the estate is renowned for wines of extraordinary depth, texture, and longevity, capable of evolving gracefully for decades.

The 2016 Pétrus is a monumental expression of the estate, combining immense concentration with extraordinary finesse and precision.  The nose reveals layers of black cherry, cassis, plum, violets, truffle, graphite, cigar box, and exotic spice, intertwined with notes of dark chocolate, cedar, espresso, and forest floor.  On the palate, the wine is remarkably dense yet weightless in feel, supported by impeccably refined tannins and remarkable freshness.  Powerful, seamless, and profoundly complex, it unfolds gradually into an exceptionally long, mineral-driven finish of extraordinary elegance and persistence.
