Situated on the plateau of Pomerol and planted almost entirely to Merlot, the estate is renowned for wines of extraordinary depth, texture, and longevity, capable of evolving gracefully for decades.

The 2012 Pétrus displays remarkable elegance and precision, already revealing the refinement for which the estate is famous. The nose opens with aromas of black plum, blackberry, dark cherry, violets, truffle, graphite, and cigar box, layered with notes of cedar, dark chocolate, spice, and forest floor. On the palate, the wine is rich and velvety yet beautifully controlled, combining concentrated dark fruit with silky tannins, freshness, and exceptional balance. Notes of black fruits, cocoa, mineral, espresso, and exotic spice unfold gradually into a long, seamless, and deeply persistent finish.
