Produced from one of the most revered vineyards in Bordeaux, Pétrus is among the world’s most sought-after and collectible wines. Situated on the plateau of Pomerol and planted almost entirely to Merlot, the estate is renowned for wines of extraordinary depth, texture, and longevity, capable of evolving gracefully for decades.

The 2006 Pétrus is beginning to reveal the remarkable complexity and refinement for which the estate is famous. The nose opens with aromas of black cherry, plum, blackberry preserve, violets, truffle, cigar box, and graphite, layered with hints of dark chocolate, cedar, spice, and forest floor. On the palate, the wine is powerful yet impeccably balanced, combining concentrated dark fruit with velvety tannins and exceptional freshness. Notes of black fruits, espresso, mineral, and exotic spice unfold gradually into an extraordinarily long, seamless finish.
