Tenuta Masseto je jedno od najikoničnijih vina Italije, proizvedeno sa jedinstvenog vinograda plavih glinovitih zemljišta iznad toskanske obale u blizini Bolgherija. Vremenom je Masseto postao globalna referenca za Merlot, cijenjen ne samo zbog snage, već i zbog sposobnosti da spoji bogatstvo, preciznost i izuzetan potencijal za odležavanje.

Berba 2019, iz uravnotežene i veoma cijenjene godine, proizvedena je od 100% Merlota i predstavlja savršeno izbalansiran izraz—manje raskošna od 2015, ali otvorenija od 2016, nudeći sklad između bogatstva, svježine i strukture.

U čaši se pokazuje duboka rubin crvena boja sa živim odsjajem. Na nosu je profinjeno i slojevito, sa aromama crne trešnje, šljive i kupine, uz note ljubičice, grafita, kakaa, slatkih začina i blagih zemljanih nijansi. Na nepcu je punog tijela, ali izuzetno precizno, sa finim taninima i svježom kisjelinom; voće je gusto, ali kontrolisano, a završnica duga i elegantna, sa izraženom mineralnošću, balansom i izuzetnom postojanošću.

Tenuta Masseto is one of Italy’s most iconic wines, produced from a single vineyard of blue clay soils overlooking the Tuscan coast near Bolgheri. Over time, Masseto has become a global benchmark for Merlot, admired not only for its power but for its ability to combine richness with precision and remarkable ageing potential.

The 2019 vintage, from a balanced and highly regarded year, is 100% Merlot and represents a beautifully poised expression—less overtly opulent than 2015, yet more generous than 2016, striking a compelling balance between richness, freshness, and structure.

In the glass, it shows a deep ruby colour with vibrant reflections. The nose is refined and layered, with aromas of black cherry, plum, and blackberry, complemented by notes of violet, graphite, cocoa, sweet spice, and subtle earthy nuances. On the palate, it is full-bodied yet remarkably precise, with finely grained tannins and fresh acidity; the fruit is dense but controlled, leading to a long, elegant finish marked by mineral tension, balance, and exceptional persistence.
