Tenuta Masseto’s drugo vino, Massetino, uvedeno je tek nedavno kako bi se dodatno usavršila selekcija za legendarni Masseto. Proizvedeno sa istih izuzetnih plavih glinovitih zemljišta koja su proslavila Masseto, nudi pristupačniji izraz uz zadržavanje prepoznatljivog identiteta imanja.

Berba 2023 zasniva se pretežno na Merlotu, uz manji udio Cabernet Franca, pružajući bogatstvo i preciznost u modernom, uglađenom stilu.

U čaši se pokazuje duboka rubin crvena boja sa ljubičastim odsjajem. Na nosu je intenzivno i profinjeno, sa aromama zrele šljive, crne trešnje i kupine, uz slojeve ljubičice, kakaa, slatkih začina i diskretnog uticaja drveta. Na nepcu je srednjeg do punog tijela, sa svilenkastim, finim taninima i svježom kisjelinom; voće je čisto i koncentrisano, a završnica duga i elegantna, sa izraženom mineralnošću, začinima i odličnim balansom.

Tenuta Masseto’s second wine, Massetino, was introduced only in recent years as a way to further refine the selection for the iconic Masseto itself. Produced from the same extraordinary blue clay soils that have made Masseto legendary, it offers a slightly more approachable expression while retaining the unmistakable identity of the estate.

The 2023 vintage is based predominantly on Merlot, with a small proportion of Cabernet Franc, delivering both richness and precision in a modern, polished style.

In the glass, it shows a deep ruby colour with purple reflections. The nose is intense and refined, with aromas of ripe plum, black cherry, and blackberry, layered with notes of violet, cocoa, sweet spice, and subtle oak. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied, with silky, finely textured tannins and fresh acidity; the fruit is pure and concentrated, leading to a long, elegant finish with mineral depth, spice, and excellent balance.
