Tenuta Masseto’s drugo vino, Massetino, potiče sa istih izuzetnih plavih glinovitih zemljišta koja su učinila Masseto jednim od najpoznatijih vina Italije. Kreirano kako bi dodatno usavršilo selekciju za Grand Vin, brzo je razvilo sopstveni identitet—nudeći pristupačniji, ali i dalje duboko izražajan stil ovog jedinstvenog terroira.

Berba 2022, iz tople i sušne godine, zasniva se pretežno na Merlotu uz manji udio Cabernet Franca, dajući koncentrisaniji i sunčaniji stil, sa bogatim voćem i mekšim, pristupačnijim profilom u odnosu na hladnije berbe.

U čaši se pokazuje duboka, intenzivna rubin crvena boja. Na nosu je bogato i raskošno, sa aromama zrele crne trešnje, šljive i kupine, uz slojeve kakaa, slatkih začina, sladića i nagovještaj mediteranskog bilja. Na nepcu je punog tijela i obavijajuće, sa baršunastim taninima i umjerenom kisjelinom; voće je gusto i izdašno, a završnica duga i glatka, sa nijansama tamne čokolade, začina i toplom, postojanom punoćom.

Tenuta Masseto’s second wine, Massetino, is drawn from the same exceptional blue clay soils that have made Masseto one of Italy’s most iconic wines. Introduced to further refine the selection for the Grand Vin, it has quickly established its own identity—offering a slightly more accessible yet still deeply expressive interpretation of this unique terroir.

The 2022 vintage, from a hot and dry year, is based predominantly on Merlot with a small proportion of Cabernet Franc, resulting in a more concentrated, sun-driven style with generous fruit and a softer, more immediate profile compared to cooler vintages.

In the glass, it shows a deep, saturated ruby colour. The nose is rich and opulent, with aromas of ripe black cherry, plum, and blackberry, layered with notes of cocoa, sweet spice, liquorice, and a hint of Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, it is full-bodied and enveloping, with plush, velvety tannins and moderate acidity; the fruit is dense and generous, leading to a long, smooth finish marked by dark chocolate, spice, and a warm, lingering richness.
