Lions de Batailley je drugo vino Château Batailley, Grand Cru Classé imanja poznatog po strukturiranim, ali elegantnim vinima iz Pauillaca. Kreirano da bude pristupačnije u ranoj fazi, vino ipak odražava dubinu i karakter terroira ovog prestižnog posjeda.

U čaši se pokazuje duboka rubin boja sa granatnim odsjajem. Na nosu je izražajno i zrelo, sa aromama crne ribizle, kupine i cassisa, uz note kedra, grafita i slatkih začina. Na nepcu je srednjeg do punog tijela, sa zrelim, dobro integrisanim taninima i bogatim jezgrom tamnog voća; uravnoteženo svježom kisjelinom, završava se dugim i strukturiranim završetkom, sa nijansama začina, duvana i mineralnosti.

Lions de Batailley is the second wine of Château Batailley, a Grand Cru Classé estate known for its structured yet polished Pauillac wines. Crafted to be more immediately accessible, it nonetheless reflects the depth and pedigree of the estate’s terroir.

In the glass, it shows a deep ruby colour with garnet reflections. The nose is expressive and ripe, with aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, and cassis, complemented by notes of cedar, graphite, and sweet spice. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied, with ripe, well-integrated tannins and a generous core of dark fruit; balanced by fresh acidity, it finishes long and structured, with lingering notes of spice, tobacco, and mineral complexity.
