Lions de Batailley je drugo vino Château Batailley, istorijskog Grand Cru Classé imanja u Pauillacu. Proizvedeno od mlađih čokota i selektovanih parcela, predstavlja pristupačniji izraz Cabernet Sauvignon dominantnog stila imanja, uz očuvanje strukture i tipičnosti apelacije.

U čaši se pokazuje duboka rubin crvena boja. Na nosu je elegantno i blago suzdržano, sa notama crne ribizle, crvene trešnje i šljive, uz slojeve kedra, grafita i diskretnih suvih začinskih trava. Na nepcu je srednjeg tijela, sa finim, uglađenim taninima i svježom kisjelinom; voće je precizno i uravnoteženo, a završnica rafinirana, klasična za Pauillac, sa suptilnim začinskim i zemljanim tonovima.

Lions de Batailley is the second wine of Château Batailley, a historic Grand Cru Classé estate in Pauillac. Produced from younger vines and selected parcels, it offers a more approachable expression of the estate’s Cabernet Sauvignon-led style, while maintaining the structure and typicity of the appellation.

In the glass, it shows a deep ruby colour. The nose is elegant and slightly restrained, with notes of blackcurrant, red cherry, and plum, layered with cedar, graphite, and a touch of dried herbs. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, with fine-grained tannins and fresh acidity; the fruit is precise and balanced, leading to a refined, classic Pauillac finish with subtle spice and earthy undertones.
