Jacquesson’s single-vineyard “Champ Caïn” comes from a small Grand Cru parcel in Avize, in the Côte des Blancs, planted entirely to Chardonnay. Champagne Jacquesson is renowned for its terroir-driven, low-dosage Champagnes, and this cuvée is a precise, mineral expression of that philosophy, with extended lees ageing adding depth and complexity.

In the glass, it shows a pale golden colour with fine, persistent bubbles. The nose is complex and layered, with aromas of citrus, green apple, and pear, alongside notes of dried flowers, chamomile, brioche, and toasted almond, underpinned by pronounced mineral tones. On the palate, it is tense and precise, with vibrant acidity and a refined mousse; flavours of lemon, orchard fruit, and pastry are carried by a strong chalky minerality, leading to a long, crystalline finish with remarkable freshness and elegance.
