Porodica Guigal ima bliske odnose sa mnogim imanjima širom doline Rone, pa nije začuđujuće da pravi dobri crveni Côtes du Rhône, koji je daleko izvan onoga što očekujete od opšte apelacije. Kupažu čini 55%  Syrah, 45% Grenache i 5% Mourvèdre, ovo duboko i tamno crveno vino u nosu nudi note svježeg voća sa crvenim bobicama i začina. Puno i zaokruženo na nepcima, sa glatkim taninima, punog tijela, bogato i intenzivno aromatično vino takođe i sa mnogo elegancije. Pravilno uskladišteno u podruju, trajaće deceniju. Upariti ga sa suvim, grilovanim ili pečenim mesom, živinskim mesom i sirom.

The Guigal family has close relationships with many of the top estates up and down the Rhône Valley, so it’s not surprising that they make a good Côtes du Rhône red. Still, this one goes far beyond what you’d expect from the general appellation.  A blend of 55% Syrah, 45% Grenache and 5% Mourvèdre, this deep and dark red wine offers fresh fruits with red berries and spices on the nose. Full and round the palate with smooth tannins, this is a full-bodied, rich and intensely aromatic wine with plenty of elegance too.   Properly cellared, it will last a decade. Pair it with charcuterie, grilled or roasted meat, poultry and cheese.
