Château de Nalys uživa izuzetnu poziciju u srcu apelacije, naspram sela Châteauneuf-du-Pape i njegove čuvene Papske palate. Ovo je jedno od najstarijih imanja u apelaciji, zabilježeno u zemljišnim knjigama još krajem 16. vijeka. Na imanju se brižljivo uzgaja svih 13 poznatih sorti grožđa koje su dozvoljene u apelaciji Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Imanje je 2017. godine preuzela porodica Guigal, poznata po svojoj strasti prema vinima juga Francuske, a upravo ta strast, u kombinaciji sa izuzetnim znanjem i vještinama, podigla je kvalitet vina na još viši nivo.

Ovo vino je napravljeno od grožđa sa četiri izuzetna terroira imanja Nalys („La Crau“, „Bois Sénéchal“, „Nalys“ i „Piedlong“). U kupaži dominiraju Roussanne i Grenache Blanc, uz dodatak Clairette i dašak Picardana. Dvije trećine vina odležava u hrastovim bačvama, što mu donosi gustu složenost.

Ovo fino bijelo vino Château de Nalys odlikuju elegantne arome bijelog cvijeća i suptilne note tostiranog hljeba, uz predivnu ravnotežu i dug završetak. U dvije riječi: plemenitost i složenost. Izvrsno se slaže sa školjkama, ribom u sosu od beurre blanc i zrelim kozjim sirom.

Château de Nalys enjoys an exceptional position in the heart of the appellation opposite the village of Châteauneuf-du-Pape and its famous Papal Palace. This is one of the oldest properties of the appellation, referenced in the land register already at the end of the 16th Century. The famous 13 grape varieties of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation are carefully cultivated here.  The estate was acquired in 2017 by the Guigal family, who are clearly passionate about making the wines in this flagship domain in the South.  That passion, combined with their exceptional skills and knowledge, have clearly elevated the wines to an even higher level of quality.

This wine is made from four exceptional terroirs of Nalys (“La Crau”, le “Bois Sénéchal”, “Nalys” and “Piedlong”). The blend is dominated by Rousanne and Grenache Blanc, complemented with Clairette and a touch of Picardan. Two-thirds of the wine is oak-aged bringing a dense complexity. This fine white wine of Château de Nalys is defined by elegant aromas of white flowers and light toasty notes together with a lovely balance and a long finish. In two words: nobility and complexity. It's a great pairing for shellfish, fish with a “beurre blanc” sauce, and aged goat's cheese.
