Château Potensac is a long-standing property of the Delon family, owners of Château Léoville Las Cases, and has gained a strong reputation for delivering classically styled Médoc wines with exceptional value. Often considered a benchmark for the northern Médoc, it combines structure, freshness, and understated depth.

The 2016 vintage, one of Bordeaux’s great modern years, is based predominantly on Cabernet Sauvignon, supported by Merlot and a notable proportion of Cabernet Franc, contributing to both structure and aromatic lift.

Deep ruby colour with garnet reflections. Aromas of blackcurrant, plum, and dark cherry, layered with notes of cedar, graphite, tobacco, and subtle spice. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, with firm, finely grained tannins and vibrant acidity, leading to a long, structured finish marked by mineral tension, freshness, and classic Médoc restraint.
