Chateau Pichon Longueville “Comtesse de Lalande” is known as one of Pauillac’s significant ‘super seconds’. The illustrious Second Growth, from the 1855 classification, backs onto the vineyards of Château Latour and shares a similar climate, aspect and soil as the First Growth, and makes a wine which rivals (and sometimes even exceeds) that of its loftier neighbours.

Deep garnet colored, the 2010 Pichon “Comtesse” gives up notes of warm cassis, blueberry pie and kirsch with wafts of cedar chest, pencil lead, charcoal and charcuterie, plus a hint of wild thyme.
