Château Pichon Baron je drugi Grand Cru Classé u apelaciji Pauillac, poznat po svojoj eleganciji, snažnim taninima i izuzetno dugom završetku. Nekada dio većeg imanja Pichon, podijeljen je 1850. godine kada je tadašnji vlasnik, 90-godišnji Baron Joseph de Pichon-Longueville, umro i ostavio imanje ravnopravno svojoj petorici dece, pri čemu su žene dobile Pichon-Longueville “Comtesse de Lalande”, a muškarci ono što će postati Pichon-Longueville “Baron”.

Duboke rubin boje sa zrelim, finim crnim ribizlama na nosu. Super čistina tamnog voća protkana je nagoveštajima tamne čokolade i kedra. Nepce je veoma otmeno, fokusirano i čisto, ali uokvireno upornim, kredastim taninima.

Château Pichon Baron is a 2nd Grand Cru Classé in the Pauillac appellation, known for its elegance, powerful tannins, and an exceptionally long finish.  Once part of the larger Pichon estate, it was split apart in 1850 when the then owner, 90-year-old Baron Joseph de Pichon-Longueville died and bequeathed the property equally between his five children, the women receiving Pichon-Longueville “Comtesse de Lalande” and the men what would become Pichon-Longueville “Baron.” 

Deep ruby in colour with ripe, fine cassis fruit on the nose. Super purity of dark fruit is laced with hints of dark chocolate and cedar. The palate is very classy, focused and pure yet framed with persistent, chalky tannins.
