Located in Pauillac and dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, the estate combines extraordinary terroir with meticulous winemaking, while each vintage is further distinguished by its famous artist-designed label.

The 2006 Mouton Rothschild is beginning to show the classical structure and aristocratic character of the vintage. The nose reveals aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, cassis, cigar box, cedar, graphite, and pencil shavings, layered with notes of dark chocolate, espresso, spice, and smoky oak. On the palate, the wine is powerful and deeply structured, yet beautifully refined, combining concentrated dark fruit with firm but polished tannins and remarkable freshness. Notes of black fruits, mineral, tobacco, cocoa, and spice unfold gradually into a long, precise, and exceptionally persistent finish.
