In the glass, it offers intense aromas of blackcurrant, smoked tobacco, cedar, lead pencil, and dark chocolate. The palate is medium to full-bodied with a supple, elegant texture and polished, ripe tannins. Bright red and black fruits are accented by hints of mint, blood orange, wild flowers, and white pepper, all carried by fresh acidity and lively spice. This is a wine of structure and depth, with excellent balance and a dynamic, savoury finish — one of the estate’s finest vintages in recent years — promising graceful evolution over the next two decades.
