The 1996 vintage, a benchmark year on the Left Bank, is particularly celebrated for its Cabernet Sauvignon, delivering a wine of remarkable intensity, freshness, and longevity.

In the glass, it shows a deep garnet colour with slight brick evolution. The nose is complex and expressive, with aromas of blackcurrant, cassis, and dark cherry, layered with graphite, cedar, tobacco, and developing notes of leather and spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied and structured, with firm yet beautifully resolved tannins and vibrant acidity; the fruit remains precise and focused, leading to a long, powerful finish marked by mineral depth, savoury nuance, and exceptional persistence.
