U čaši se pokazuje duboka rubin crvena boja sa ljubičastim odsjajem. Na nosu je elegantno i aromatično, sa aromama crne ribizle, kupine i tamne trešnje, uz slojeve ljubičice, kedra, grafita i suptilnih začina. Na nepcu je srednjeg do punog tijela, sa finim taninima i živom kisjelinom; voće je čisto i precizno, a završnica duga i elegantna, sa cvjetnim tonovima, mineralnom napetošću i odličnim balansom.

Château La Lagune is one of the southern Médoc’s most elegant estates, known for combining the structure of Haut-Médoc with a Margaux-like finesse. Under the long-standing direction of Caroline Frey, the estate has embraced organic and biodynamic practices, further refining precision and purity of fruit.

The 2020 vintage, from a warm and balanced year, is based on a classic Médoc blend led by Cabernet Sauvignon, supported by Merlot and Petit Verdot, delivering both richness and structure with notable freshness.

In the glass, it shows a deep ruby colour with violet reflections. The nose is refined and aromatic, with aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, and dark cherry, layered with notes of violet, cedar, graphite, and subtle spice. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied, with finely textured tannins and vibrant acidity; the fruit is pure and well-defined, leading to a long, elegant finish marked by floral lift, mineral tension, and excellent balance.
