U čaši se pokazuje duboka rubin crvena boja sa granatnim odsjajem. Na nosu je elegantno i uzdignuto, sa aromama crne ribizle, crvene trešnje i šljive, uz slojeve ljubičice, kedra, grafita i suptilnih začina. Na nepcu je srednjeg do punog tijela, sa finim taninima i svježom kisjelinom; voće je precizno i uravnoteženo, a završnica duga, skladna i elegantna, sa cvjetnim nijansama, mineralnošću i klasičnom elegancijom Margauxa.

Château Giscours is one of the great historic estates of Margaux, known for its expansive gravel terroir and a style that balances structure with perfume and elegance. Under the ownership of Eric Albada Jelgersma, the estate has undergone significant revitalization, restoring both vineyard quality and precision in winemaking.

The 2014 vintage, shaped by a long and classic growing season, is based predominantly on Cabernet Sauvignon, supported by Merlot and smaller proportions of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, delivering a refined and classically structured Margaux.

In the glass, it shows a deep ruby colour with garnet reflections. The nose is elegant and lifted, with aromas of blackcurrant, red cherry, and plum, layered with notes of violet, cedar, graphite, and subtle spice. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied, with finely grained tannins and fresh acidity; the fruit is precise and balanced, leading to a long, poised finish with floral nuances, mineral depth, and classic Margaux finesse.
