Château Giscours is one of the great historic estates of Margaux, set on expansive gravel terraces that give both structure and aromatic finesse. The 2010 vintage, one of Bordeaux’s benchmark years, represents a more classical and structured expression than 2009, with exceptional balance, precision, and longevity.

The blend is dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, supported by Merlot and smaller proportions of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, giving the wine both depth and architectural structure.

In the glass, it shows a deep garnet colour with only slight evolution. The nose is intense and refined, with aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, and dark cherry, layered with notes of violet, cedar, graphite, tobacco, and subtle spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied and firmly structured, with powerful yet finely grained tannins and vibrant acidity; the fruit remains precise and focused, leading to a long, linear finish marked by mineral depth, floral lift, and exceptional ageing potential.
