Berba 2014, iz klasične i uravnotežene godine, zasniva se pretežno na Merlotu, uz podršku Cabernet Sauvignon-a i manjeg udjela Cabernet Franca, pružajući profinjen i harmoničan izraz Pomerola.

U čaši se pokazuje duboka rubin crvena boja sa granatnim odsjajem. Na nosu je elegantno i izražajno, sa aromama šljive, tamne trešnje i kupine, uz slojeve ljubičice, kedra, kakaa i suptilnih začina. Na nepcu je srednjeg do punog tijela, sa mekim, dobro integrisanim taninima i svježom kisjelinom; voće je zrelo, ali suzdržano, a završnica duga i glatka, sa nijansama čokolade, začina i blage mineralnosti.

Château Gazin sits on one of the prime plateaus of Pomerol, neighboring some of the appellation’s most celebrated names. Once owned by the Knights Hospitaller in the Middle Ages, the estate carries a rich history, and today produces wines that reflect the depth and elegance of its clay and gravel terroir.

The 2014 vintage, from a classic and balanced year, is based predominantly on Merlot, supported by Cabernet Sauvignon and a small proportion of Cabernet Franc, offering a refined and harmonious expression of Pomerol.

In the glass, it shows a deep ruby colour with garnet reflections. The nose is elegant and expressive, with aromas of plum, black cherry, and blackberry, layered with notes of violet, cedar, cocoa, and subtle spice. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied, with supple, well-integrated tannins and fresh acidity; the fruit is ripe yet restrained, leading to a long, smooth finish with hints of chocolate, spice, and gentle minerality.
