Na nepcu je kombinacija satenske teksture i snage, gdje se raskošnost Merlota savršeno nadopunjuje strukturom i aromatičnim karakterom Cabernet Franca.  Zahvaljujući svojoj dubini i preciznosti, ovo nije samo izvanredan St. Émilion i izuzetan Cheval Blanc, već jedno od najvećih vina Bordeauxa u berbi 2015.

A Premier Grand Cru Classé of St. Émilion, Cheval Blanc is considered an icon. A unique, unmistakable wine that is coveted by wine lovers all over the world and is therefore hard to come by, it is also known to have one of the highest proportions of Cabernet Franc in its blend:  the iron-rich gravel and sandy soil on clay give this variety a ripeness like nowhere else in Bordeaux.

2015 was a near-perfect vintage in St. Émilion, conditions reflected amply in this Cheval Blanc.  It offers a bouquet rich with complexity:  dark cherry, blackcurrant, mint and smoky undertones... while on the palate it is all satin texture and power.  The plushiness of Merlot perfectly balances (and compliments) the structure and aromatic character of the Cabernet Franc.  Given its profound depth and precision, this is not only a standout St. Émilion and Cheval Blanc, but one of the greatest wines from all of Bordeaux in 2015.
