Château Carbonnieux is one of the most beloved properties in Pessac-Léognan.  This Graves Grand Cru Classé has one of the longest histories in the entire region, dating all the way back to the 12^th Century.  

The 2019 vintage is a deep purple with ruby hues and is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, and the balance Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, all brought up in 40% new barrels.  It offers aromas of red and black currants, spring flowers, spicy oak, and hints of tobacco.  It's beautiful on the palate as well, and is medium to full-bodied with a seamless, elegant texture, ripe tannins, and a great finish.  

This 2019 has been hailed as one of the finest vintages from this estate. It is versatile enough to drink now after some decanting, or to keep in your cellar for several years.
