Château Angélus is one of the most prestigious estates on the Right Bank, known for its opulent yet finely structured wines that combine power with precision. The 2017 vintage, shaped by a challenging growing season, shows the estate’s ability to craft a refined and balanced wine with freshness and clarity.

In the glass, it shows a deep ruby colour. The nose is elegant and lifted, with aromas of red and black fruits—raspberry, cherry, and blackberry—interwoven with floral notes, sweet spice, and a touch of graphite. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied, with silky, well-defined tannins and vibrant acidity; the fruit is precise and layered, leading to a long, poised finish marked by finesse, subtle minerality, and excellent balance.
