“Clos des Ursules” is the historic monopole of Louis Jadot, a walled vineyard within Beaune 1er Cru “Les Vignes Franches” that has been under Jadot’s sole ownership since 1826. Named after the Ursuline nuns who once tended the land, it is considered one of the benchmarks for red Beaune, combining depth with remarkable refinement. In the warm 2018 vintage, the wine shows a more generous and enveloping expression while retaining its classical structure.

Deep ruby colour with garnet reflections. Aromas of ripe red cherry, raspberry, and plum, layered with notes of rose, spice, forest floor, and subtle oak. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, with silky yet structured tannins and balanced acidity, leading to a long, harmonious finish marked by pure fruit, gentle earthiness, and elegant persistence.
