Ovaj prelijepi vinograd, smješten ispod sela Treiso, prema zaseoku Pertinace, već više od jednog vijeka se smatra jednim od najboljih u komuni. Berba 2014. se pokazala kao jedna od velikih u Barbarescu. Ovo vino još uvijek djeluje mlado, otvarajući se aromama francuskog hrasta, vanile, tosta i kokosa. Ove arome proizašle iz hrasta prenose se na nepce, zajedno sa kiselom trešnjom, džemom od maline, espresom, naznakama dima, sladića, podgrasta i mnoštvom balzamičnih nota. This beautiful vineyard, located below the village of Treiso, towards the Pertinace hamlet, has been considered one of the best of the commune for more than a century. And 2014 has turned out to be one of the great vintages in Barbaresco.  This wine still feels young, opening with aromas of French oak, vanilla, toast and coconut. These oak-derived qualities carry over to palate, along with sour cherry, raspberry compote, espresso, hints of smoke, licorice, underbrush and a host of balsamic notes.  Tight, close-grained tannins grip the finish, but time in the glass will bring out the wine’s expressive side.  For a huge pay-off, you might consider cellaring this 2014 for at least a few more years.
