Armagnac, Castarède VSOP

VSOP sazrijeva osam godina, dva puta duže od zakonskog minimuma.  Voćno i prijatno u nosu, sa laganim aromama bibera, kokosa i lješnika naglašenih notama meda i glaziranih šljiva u završnom ukusu. Vrlo lagan, skoro eteričan na nepcima, sa intenzivnim aromama hrastovine i duvana, kao i tamnog voća, kože, vanile, citrusa i sa dugim, lješniku sličim i prijatno oporim, drvenastim / biberastim završnim ukusom. VSOP ima više kompleksnosti i širu paletu arome nego Cognac slične starosti.

The VSOP is aged for eight years, twice the legal minimum.  Fruity and pleasant on the nose with light pepper, coconut and walnuts accented by a honey and glazed plum finish.  Very light almost ethereal on the palate with intense oak and tobacco as well as dark fruits, leather, vanilla, citrus, and a long, almost walnut-like and pleasantly astringent woody/peppery finish. This VSOP has more complexity and a wider palate of flavours than one would encounter with a Cognac of similar age.
