Alter Ego is the second wine of Château Palmer, created to express a more immediate and accessible interpretation of the estate’s style. Sourced from the same exceptional terroir in Margaux, it places greater emphasis on Merlot, resulting in a softer, more open profile while retaining the refinement and precision associated with Château Palmer.

In the glass, it shows a deep ruby colour with violet reflections. The nose is generous and aromatic, with notes of ripe blackberry, plum, and black cherry, complemented by hints of violet, spice, and subtle oak. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied, with a supple, velvety texture and finely integrated tannins; the fruit is rich and expressive, balanced by freshness, leading to a long, polished finish with elegant Margaux finesse.
