Pinot Noir "Te Muna Road" Craggy Range 2020 (750 ml)
93 bod. - Vinous
Od kamenitog, toplog tla Gimblett Gravels u Hawke’s Bayu do vulkanskog, glinovitog tla Te Muna Road u Martinboroughu, ovi izuzetni vinogradi daju vina izvanredne aromatike, čistoće i kompleksnosti.

Craggy Range is a family-owned winery established in 1998 and situated in the shadow of the spectacular Te Mata Peak in the premium wine growing area of Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand. The family has pursued the single vineyard approach to winemaking, planting on green fields and bare land ensuring a focus on quality from the very beginning. From the stony, warm soils of the Gimblett Gravels in Hawke’s Bay to the volcanic, clay soils of Te Muna Road in Martinborough, these exceptional vineyards produce wines with amazing aromatics, purity and complexity.
The unique terroir of ancient stony soils allow the premier Pinot Noirs from Craggy Range to ripen gradually while still retaining perfect acid balance. This is evident in the 2020 Te Muna Road that is sourced from the higher terrace on the Te Muna Road Estate, which is planted with eight unique clones of Pinot. From this eclectic bunch the grapes are hand-picked and fermented naturally before spending eight months in French oak. It isn't made in a blockbuster style, but one that favours elegance. The aromas and flavours are ripe, oozing with hints of plum, black cherry, fresh herbs and licorice, but what makes the wine special are its subtle spice shadings and silky texture. Pairs perfectly with lamb.
