Pinot Grigio della Venezia, La Farra 2019
From family vineyards in Colle di Attila and Varizzet, around Farra di Soligo, that are mostly clay with some chalkiness. After hand harvesting, the grapes are immediately pressed softly with only a short maceration on the skins. The result is an easy-drinking Pinot Grigio, straw yellow with green hints. The bouquet is clear and intense with notes of apricot, green apple and wisteria. It is very good as an aperitif but also pairs well with most seafood and white meats, as well as egg-based courses.
