The Bécot family (of Château Beau-Séjour Bécot) took over this vineyard in Castillon in 2001. The vineyard sits higher up than the plateau of Saint Émilion, and is a cool site for the region.

Comprised of 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc, the nose is sweet and fragrant, with hints of iron, blueberry and crunchy red cherries. The palate is supple and smooth, with fine tannins.  A charming but quite sophisticated Castillon, it showcases the impressive changes that are now taking place in this trendy appellation.
