Barbaresco iz vinarije Prunotto proizvodi se od grožđa sa vinograda u Treisu i Neiveu – dijelovima Barbaresco regije poznatim po elegantnom izrazu sorte Nebbiolo. Ovo je aristokratsko vino, ali istovremeno pristupačno i prijatno. Odležava u velikim hrastovim bačvama različitih zapremina, kako bi se postigla ravnoteža i mekoća na nepcu.

Berba 2021. godine bila je veoma povoljna u Barbarescu i dala je vino intenzivne granatno crvene boje, sa složenim aromama crvenog voća i blagim začinskim notama. Na nepcu je punog tijela, baršunasto i sa postojanim završetkom.  Zahvaljujući svojoj izraženoj strukturi, ovo vino je odličan izbor uz jela od mesa i uz sireve.

Prunotto’s Barbaresco is produced from vineyards in Treiso and Neive, parts of the Barbaresco area known for their elegant expression of Nebbiolo.  This is an aristocratic wine yet accessible and pleasant. It is aged in large oak barrels of varying capacities to enhance balance and softness on the palate.  2021 was a very good growing season in Barbaresco and has yielded a wine with an intense garnet red colour, a nose that delivers complex aromas of red fruit and hints of spices, and a palate that is full-bodied, velvety and closes with a persistent aftertaste.  This wine’s full-bodied structure makes it an excellent match for meat dishes and for cheese.
