Le Paradou je projekat koji su kreirali Alexandre i Frédéric Chaudière čija porodica proizvodi neka od najcjenjenijih vina u regiji Ventoux u Château Pesquié. Njihov cilj je ponuditi svježa i seksi vina, stvorena za užitak i dijeljenje. Proizvodnja vina je jednostavna, nekomplikovana i izvedena je u nerđajućem čeliku ili betonu kako bi se očuvali aromatične čari i hrskavi voćni ukusi ovih vina. Ako ste ikada imali zadovoljstvo putovati u Provansu ljeti, sjedati vani na terasi i uživati u lokalnoj hrani i vinu, onda tačno znate šta Fred i Alex žele postići sa "Le Paradouom".

Ovaj Rolle (francuski naziv za Vermentino) nudi blijedo vino sa odsjajima limete i nudi buke sa izraženom mineralnošću (kremen i cvijeće ustupaju mjesto citrusnim i morskim notama). Nepce nudi citruse kao i dašak aroma i ukusa tropskog voća… ovo vino je svježe, sa malo složenosti i dugotrajnom završnicom. Ovo bi bio odličan spoj za šparoge, ali i svježu ribu, školjke, kapice, špagete vongole, rižoto s plodovima mora i piletinu s limunom.

Le Paradou is a project created by Alexandre and Frédéric Chaudière whose family produce some of the most respected wines in the Ventoux region at Château Pesquié. Its goal is to offer fresh and sexy wines, made for pleasure and sharing.  The winemaking is simple, uncomplicated, and conducted in stainless steel or concrete to preserve these wines’ aromatic charms and crunchy fruit flavours. If you’ve ever had the pleasure to travel to Provence in summer, sit outside on a patio and enjoy the local food and wine, then you know exactly what Fred and Alex aim to achieve with Le Paradou.

This Rolle (the French name for Vermentino) offers is pale with lime reflections, and offers a bouquet with a marked minerality (flint and flowers giving way to citrus and maritime notes).  The palate offers citrus as well as a hint of tropical fruit aromas and flavours… this is fresh, with a bit of complexity, and a lengthy finish.  This would be a great pairing for asparagus, but also fresh fish, shellfish, scallops, spaghetti vongole, seafood risotto and lemon chicken.
