Chardonnay, Montagne Noir 2022

Dok je bukvalni prevod ovog vina „Crna Gora“, crna planina o kojoj se ovdje govori je veliki raspon koji se proteže duž sjevernog ruba francuske vinske regije Languedoc-Roussillon. Kao i kod svog brata Viognier, ovaj Chardonnay je vinificiran isključivo od nerđajućeg čelika, čuvajući svoje jasne arome citrusa, Meyer limuna i bijelog voća. Na nepcu djeluje svježe i bogato, nudeći vrlo lijep balans između slatkoće i blago kiselkastih nota.

While the literal translation of this wine is “Montenegro,” the black mountain referred to here is the large range that run along the northern edge of France’s Languedoc-Roussillon wine region.  As with its Viognier sibling, this Chardonnay is vinified exclusively in stainless steel, preserving its clear citrus, Meyer lemon and white fruit aromas.  On the palate it feels fresh and rich, offering a very nice balance between sweetness and slightly tart notes.
