Quinta de Ervamoira 10 Year Old Tawny Port, Ramos Pinto

Dobro zaokruženo i sa obiljem aroma pomorandže, kajsije i šljive. Vanila i stare bačve Portoa stvaraju drvene note. Možda je najbolje citirati The Wine Advocate koji je ovo vino nazvao omiljenim 10 godina starim Tawny:  “Lijepo fokusirano i izbalansirano, fine težine na sredini nepca za svoju kategoriju i kompleksne mješavine koncentrovanih ukusa na završnici. Dosta napeto, lijepo napravljeno i impesivno, uvijek graciozno i nepogriješivo izbalansirano.”  Ukusno kao aperitiv ili nakon večere uz čokoladu, dzerte koji nijesu preslatki, dezertima sa mlijekom ili kremom i sirevima, a posebno dobro se uparuuje sa sušenim voćem ili kolačima i tortama sa orasima.

Well-rounded and generous aromas include orange, apricot and plum. Vanilla and old Port wine casks make up its woody notes.   Perhaps  best to quote The Wine Advocate which called this their favouriute 10 Year Old Tawny:  “Beautifully focused and balanced, this has fine mid-palate weight for the category and a complex medley of concentrated flavors on the finish. Quite gripping, it is beautifully done and rather impressive, while always remaining graceful and impeccably balanced.”  Delicious as an aperitif or after dinner with chocolate, not-too-sweet desserts, milk or cream based desserts, and cheeses. It matches especially well with dried fruits or nut cakes and tortes.
