Poggio alle Gazze duguje svoj elegantni mediteranski stil jedinstvenoj mikroklimi imanja.

Poggio alle Gazze owes its elegant Mediterranean style to the estate’s unique microclimate.  It displays an intense straw yellow colour. The early harvesting of the grapes allows all the citrus and exotic fruit flavours to shine through. The aromatic freshness is confirmed on the palate with exceptional balance between length and acidity.

In the 2023 vintage, the wine is a blend of 53% Sauvignon Blanc, 37% Vermentino, 7% Viognier and 3% Semillon.  Medium to full-bodied, it is both refreshing and graceful, and quite pretty as Italian white wines go.  Passionfruit and spice aromas are well defined on the nose, and there are hints of white grapefruit, wet stone, tropical flowers, vanilla and some other tropical fruits as well.  It's a wine with a lot of finesse and is a terrific pairing for summer salads, fresh vegetables, light fish dishes, crudo of all kinds, and perhaps even some light pasta and risotto dishes.
