Produced by the Marqués de Murrieta family at the historic Pazo de Barrantes estate in Galicia’s Rías Baixas appellation, Pazo Barrantes is regarded as one of Spain’s benchmark Albariños. Sourced from old vines planted on granite-rich soils near the Atlantic Ocean, the wine combines the freshness and salinity characteristic of Albariño with remarkable texture, depth, and ageing potential.

The 2022 vintage displays a brilliant pale straw-yellow colour with green reflections. The nose is elegant and expressive, revealing aromas of white peach, citrus blossom, grapefruit, green apple, and pear, layered with delicate floral notes, saline minerality, and subtle hints of fresh herbs and wet stone. On the palate, the wine is vibrant, textured, and beautifully precise, combining lively acidity with impressive concentration and purity of fruit. Fresh yet refined, it unfolds gradually into a long, mineral-driven, and persistent finish marked by citrus, orchard fruit, and Atlantic freshness.
