Destilovan u West Indies Rum Distillery, ovaj 16-godišnji rum odlikuje se složenim karakterom. Dvije godine je sazrijevao u buradima od burbona pod tropskom toplotom Barbadosa, nakon čega je još 14 godina odležavao u buradima od Ferrand konjaka u Francuskoj. Ova dvostruka maturacija sa završnicom u buradima od konjaka predstavlja zaštitni znak Plantation ruma.

Na nosu je izuzetno intenzivan i začinjen, sa slatkim notama cimeta i muškatnog oraščića, pečenih badema, flambirane banane, kore citrusa i blagih cvjetnih tonova kozje krvi i vanile. Na nepcu je gotovo slatko-kiselkast, sa aromama citrusa, pudinga, crème brûlée, kokosa i bibera. Predivan rum, sa vrlo dugim završetkom u kojem dominiraju kokos, začini, med, anis, vanila i lješnik. Ovo je veoma ograničeno izdanje, a ukupna alokacija za Crnu Goru iznosi samo 30 boca... nabavite ga dok još ima!

Distilled at the West Indies Rum Distillery, this 16-year-old rum shows a complex character.   It spent two years maturing in ex-bourbon casks under the tropical heat of Barbados, followed by 14 years in Ferrand Cognac casks in France.  This double maturation with a finish in Cognac casks is a signature of Plantation Rum.  

On the nose this is very intense and spicy with sweet cinnamon and nutmeg, roasted almonds, flambéed banana, citrus peel and soft floral notes of honeysuckle and vanilla.  The palate is almost sweet / sour with citrus, custard, crême brûlée, coconut and pepper flavours.  This is gorgeous, and on the finish is very long on coconut, spices, honey,
anised, vanilla and hazelnut.  This is a very limited edition and Montenegro's total allocation is only 30 bottles ... get it before it's gone!
