U panteonu odličnih Kozlovićevih malvazija, ova „Selekcija“ nalazi se između mlade i svježe (klasične) malvazije i zrele, iz jednog vinograda Santa Lucije. To je definitivno više gastro vino, te savršen primjer zrele i složene malvazije Istarske. Ubrana zrela i odležana 12 mjeseci u nerđajućem čeliku, pokazuje dobru količinu primarnih voćnih aroma poput breskve i kajsije, kao i zrelih sočnih žutih plodova, dinje i bijelog cvijeća. Ima dašaka dimljenog karaktera i sušenog bilja.

Vino se otvara polako s vremenom pokazujući pravu kompleksnost i eleganciju. Suvo na nepcu, umjerene kiselosti, zadržava dobru svježinu. Postoji samo dašak uljne teksture, koja je održava svježom, vertikalnom, fokusiranom i rafiniranom s puno nježne složenosti.

In the pantheon of Kozlović’s excellent Malvazijas, this “Selekcija” is located in between the young and fresh (classic) Malvazija and the mature, single-vineyard Santa Lucia.  It is definitely a more gastronomic wine, and a perfect example of a ripe and complex Malvazija Istarska.  Picked ripe and aged for 12 months in stainless steel, it shows a good amount of primary fruit aromas such as peaches and apricots as well as ripe juicy yellow fruits, melon and white flowers. There is touch of smoky character and of dried herbs too. 

The wine opens slowly with time showing a true complexity and elegance.  Dry on the palate, with moderate acidity, it retains a good freshness.  There is just a touch of oily texture, keeping it fresh, vertical, focused and refined with plenty of delicate complexity.
