Ovo istorijsko imanje Grand Cru iz St. Émiliona datira još iz 15. vijeka i nalazi se blizu granice s Pomerolom, nedaleko od Château Cheval Blanca. Vinogradi su zasađeni u omjeru koji odgovara ovogodišnjoj kupaži: 90% Merlota i 10% Cabernet Franca.

Château Corbin donosi pravi preporod prepoznatljivog Corbin stila – što znači veliku eleganciju i savršenu ravnotežu između zrelog crvenog voća, finih tanina i izuzetne dužine u ustima.  Istovremeno, Corbin zadržava svoju karakterističnu punoću, pa je preporučljivo dekantirati ga sat ili dva prije serviranja, ili ga čuvati u podrumu još nekoliko godina.

This storied St. Émlion Grand Cru estate dates back to the 15th century and is located quite close to the border with Pomerol, not far from Château Cheval Blanc.  The vineyards are planted roughly in line with the blend this vintage:  90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc.  

Thanks in part to a 2016 overhaul of the cellar, the 2019 vintage of Château Corbin heralds a revival of the Corbin style, which is to say great elegance, and a perfect balance between well-ripened red fruits, fine tannins and great length in the mouth.  That said, Corbin also retains its characteristic "big-ness," so decant this for an hour or two or cellar it for a few more years.
