Château Clinet jedno je od najstarijih imanja u Pomerolu, sa istorijom koja datira još od 1785. godine. Smješten na izvanrednom terroiru, vinogradi se nalaze na jednoj od najviših tačaka Pomerolskog platoa. Poznat po pedantnoj vinifikaciji i uzgoju vinove loze, Clinet se takođe izdvaja po relativno visokom udjelu Cabernet Sauvignona, što je rijetkost u Pomerolu.

Berba 2015. predstavlja kupažu od 90% Merlota, 9% Cabernet Sauvignona i 1% Cabernet Franca, koja je 16 mjeseci odležavala u 65% novih francuskih hrastovih bačvi.  Arome su bogate i slojevite, s notama zgnječenih crnih trešanja, crnih malina i kompota od crvene trešnje, uz nijanse lovorovog lista, cimeta, zvjezdastog anisa, šumskog tla, potpourrija i mokke.  Na nepcu se otkriva senzualno vino srednjeg tijela, savršeno uravnoteženo čvrstim, ali svilenkastim taninima i predivnom energijom. Završetak je dug i izraženo začinjen, ostavljajući upečatljiv utisak.

Château Clinet is one of the oldest estates in Pomerol, dating back to 1785.  It is situated on a great terroir, the vineyards are located at one of the highest points on the Pomerol Plateau.  Well-known for its fastidious viticulture and vilification, Clinet is also "famous" for having a relatively large (for Pomerol) proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon planted.  

This 2015 vintage is a blend of 90% Merlot, 9% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 1% Cabernet Franc matured in 65% new French oak for 16 months.  It offers notes of crushed black cherries, black raspberries and red cherry compote alongside nuances of bay leaf, cinnamon stick, star anise, forest floor, potpourri and mocha. The palate reveals a sensuous medium-bodied style offset beautifully by very firm but silky tannins and wonderful energy.  It finishes long and more than a little bit spicy.
