Angelus u ovoj berbi predstavlja kupažu od 60% Merlot-a i 40% Cabernet Franc-a. Vino pokazuje izuzetnu dubinu aroma i ukusa voća... posebno kupina, koje su upotpunjene notama začina, vlažne zemlje i slatkog duvana. Prilično je puno tijelo, sa uglađenim, ali i dalje čvrstim i snažnim taninima koji će se vremenom lijepo razviti. 2016. godina bila je izuzetna za Saint-Émilion, i ova berba će ostati zapamćena kao jedna od najboljih ikada proizvedenih u Angelusu. Završetak je izuzetno dug i postojan.

Angelus is a blend of 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Franc in this vintage.  The wine shows some incredible depth of fruit aromas and flavours ... particularly blackberries, and complimented by notes of spice, wet earth and sweet tobacco. It is quite full-bodied and will polished but still firm and powerful tannins that will resolve over time. 2016 was an excellent year in St. Emilion and this will go down as one of the greatest vintages of Angelus ever produced.  The finish goes on for a very long time.
