Bourgogne Chardonnay "Couvent des Jacobins" Louis Jadot 2022

Jadot Bourgogne Blanc je 100% Chardonnay iz Mâconnais-a i Côte Chalonnaise, a u zadnje vrijeme i sa lokacija Cote d’Or. Trećina se fermentiše u buradima, ostatak se fermentiše u nerđajućem čeliku, a dio sazrijeva u buretu, što mu daje na težini i zaokruženosti. Berba 2022. godine je visokog kvaliteta, a to je ona godina kada vina iz Burgundije zasijaju i budu odlična kupovinu. Svijetle boje, atraktivnih aroma u nosu s notama minerala, kamena i zelenih jabuka, a sredinu nepca puni bogatijim orašastim i citrusnim aromama uz dašak tropikalnosti — odličnog ukusa s obzirom na cijenu.

The Jadot Bourgogne Blanc is 100% Chardonnay from the Mâconnais and Côte Chalonnaise and more recently from Cote d’Or sites. A third is barrel-fermented; the rest is fermented in stainless steel, and a portion is aged in a barrel. The latter lends it a bit of weight and roundness. 2022 is a high-quality vintage and the kind of year when Burgundy wines can shine and be great buys. The colour is light, the nose attractive with mineral, stony, green apple notes, the mid-palate fills in with richer nutty citrus fruits with a touch of tropicality — delicious for the price.
