Braća Frédéric i Alexandre Chaudière su treća generacija njihove porodice koja upravlja Château Pesquié, imanjem od 100 hektara u Ventou. Vinogradarstvo na imanju seže još od Rimljana, koji su imanju dali i ime:  pescarum, latinski naziv za ribnjake, referenca na brojne izvore oko imanja. Vinova loza je sertifikovana kao organska i braća su ugradila biodinamičke tretmane i prakse u svoje vinograde.

“Terrasses Blanc” je napravljen od 40% Viogniera i po 20% Grenache Blanc, Roussanne i Clairette. Svaka sorta se fermentira zasebno, zatim miješa i odležava u mješavini nerđajućeg čelika i betona bez malolaktičke konverzije. U čaši vino ima laganu limunastu boju i nudi arome bijelog cvijeća, svježe limete, kiselkastog limuna i zrele breskve. Nepce pokazuje prekrasnu svježinu i napetost koju savršeno balansira kremasta tekstura i srednje tijelo. Uživajte u njemu samom ili uz raviole od sira, svježe povrće ili ribu sa roštilja.

Brothers Frédéric and Alexandre Chaudière are the third generation of their family to manage Château Pesquié, a 100 hectare estate in Ventoux. Viticulture on the estate stretches back to the Romans, who also gave the estate its name:  pescarum, Latin for fish ponds, a reference to the many springs around the estate. The vines are certified organic and the brothers have incorporated biodynamic treatments and practices in their vineyards.

The “Terrasses Blanc” is made from 40% Viognier, and 20% each of Grenache Blanc, Roussanne and  Clairette. Each variety is fermented separately, then blended and aged in a mix of stainless steel and concrete with no malolactic conversion. In the glass, the wine displays a light lemon colour and offers aromas of white flowers, fresh lime, zesty lemon and ripe peach. The palate shows wonderful freshness and tension that is perfectly balanced by a creamy texture and medium body.  Enjoy on its own or with cheese ravioli, fresh vegetables or grilled fish.
